Appreciating Art and ArtistsOver twenty-five years ago I began my career in art working in a contemporary art museum. My appreciation for art grew from a passion for understanding the importance of the conservation and preservation of beautiful objects and collections created from diverse cultures. Within my museum tenure I designed and installed exhibitions ranging in scope from European Old Master paintings to cultural artifacts from New Guinea, and Pre-Columbian Costa Rica. Included within this spectrum were renowned artists such as Richard Diebenkorn, Pablo Picasso, Roy Lichtenstein, Amedeo Modigliani, and Mark Rothko.

Educating and Supporting
In addition to curatorial duties, for ten years I taught undergraduate classes in Museum Studies. The focus of these classes was to introduce and engage the students regarding the professional standards needed to pursue careers in art galleries and museums throughout North America and Europe.

Knowledge & Expertise
The diverse and extensive knowledge and expertise I've obtained through my involvement with artists, collectors, museum directors and curators has created the foundation of my connoisseurship from which each appraisal assignment is researched and analyzed to produce an accurate report. It is through these fine art appraisals that I continue to assist my clients in understanding the current value of their artwork and to help ensure it's longevity of value.
